Some new SPS corals I picked up recently
How did you take a picture of this from greece???
FTS @ 20 months. Some are temporary adoptions so it's a bit more crowded than normal.
great pictures, i dont know much about reef aquariums at all, what is the name of the fish and coral stuff?
Thanks. The fish is a Six Line Wrasse. Coral on the left are some zoanthids that are closed up. The ones on the right are green star polyps.
Finally the polyps started coming out
How long did it take? I have one that has been almost a couple of weeks..i know its not dying
Got it as a tiny half inch frag about a year ago. It was white with slight hint of green. Didn't think it would make it either. It grew really slow since it was so small but the growth rate seems to be picking up.
I am finally seeing some polyp extension, I think just taking a long time to acclimate to lights
Can I have your tank? Lol. That's awesome
No, but you can have some frags if you're near VA!
That would be awesome, but I'm in Wisconsin and trying to sell my system to temporarily put a hold on my activity in the hobby.
Nice green mandarin dragonet... Looks a lot like mine, but I can't get that good of a picture
Thanks! It's filling out very nicely, almost time for another FTS.
Rebuilt the sump to better accomodate the new skimmer.
Some new zoanthid frags
Yay! The Super Reef Octopus XP1000 Skimmer was installed today and already pulling fish tank soup du jour out of the water.
Lol! Does he do this regularly?
Always a blast to watch those guys. I wish I had room for one.
I've seen it happen a few times in the past couple of weeks.
Yeah, it's got lots of personality.
