klm updated Chili Coral
2012-12-28 09:39:26 -0800
Chili Cactus Coral, Nephthyigorgia sp., is a colorful, fairly easy to keep addition to the home aquarium. It is a coral that requires low to moderate lighting levels and should do fine with a medium water flow. Its placement should be in the middle or lower levels of the aquarium. The bright to deeper scarlet ranging reds of the Chili Cactus add a great splash of color, especially to lower-light aquariums where many basic flesh-toned corals are present. As it grows, it may encroach upon and damage other corals with which in comes in contact. Chili Cactus Coral will benefit from feedings of any supplement designed for filter feeders. Iodine and strontium will help ensure its continued health

The Acan Lord Coral (Acanthastrea lordhowensis), also known as 'The Lord', is the most colorful of the Acanthastrea genus. This LPS Hard Coral, native to Australia, comes in many different colors from red, purple, green, orange, blue, rust, brown and pale gray, to pale tan. The Acan Lord Howe is a great coral and is very easy to care for. They are not at all demanding and they will readily grow new polyps. They do not need to be fed since they use the dissolved organics in the tank for nourishment. Try to avoid housing with soft corals as they do not do as well in their presence, and some will die if the softy population is too high. Provide a low water movement, and do not use Metal Halides since the Acan Lord will not fully open.

klm updated Sebae Clownflsh
2012-12-10 20:51:03 -0800
The Sebae Clownfish has a dark brown body with two wide vertical bands and an orange face. The anal fin is yellow and the caudal fin can be white or yellow. Juveniles are more yellow, getting browner as they age. They also are known to become aggressive as they age like damselfish. Sebae Clownfish or Seba's Anemonefish is generally easy to keep. It is hardy and will take a variety of foods, making it easily kept in the aquarium without special care. It will do well in either a reef environment or a fish only aquarium. It needs both open space for swimming along with rocks/ corals that provide many crevices to hide in. No need for a sand bed. They like to have a host anemone, but it is not necessary. credit @wikipedia
